This item is a Light Sensor #1538G made in England by MEGATRON and used in avionics. It is about 3.5" x 1.5" and comes with the original mounting bracket and connecting wires. I tested the unit and gives about 0.5V when lighted by an ordinary bulb. It appears that this unit is a Selenium photo-electric cell.
