This is an old style tool holder that was used for decades before the invention of the Aloris style of quick change tooling. This holder fits the Rocker Arm style of tool post. The holder is made of drop forged from special steel, accurately machined, heat treated and hardened. This is a boring bar holder that holds a 1 round boring bar that holds two high speed 5/16 square cutting tool bits, one end at a 90 degree angle and the other end at a 45 degree angle. The holder was designed for heavy duty boring where the extra bulk and long collar are necessary to support the bar.
