The new WJ-HD716 16-channel Real-Time Digital Video Recorder (DVR) features a proprietary UniPhier System LSI Platform to provide real-time field recording of 480/400 images per second (ips) and frame recording of 240/200 ips, and H.264 compression for more efficient use of disk space. Key features include: Intelligent Video Motion Detection (i-VMD) with Super Dynamic 5 Link (SD5Link) to share meta data information between cameras and the recorder; and dual HDMI video outputs for true 1080i HD playback.
In addition Panasonic introduced the WJ-HD616 16-Channel H.264 DVR that provides 240/200 ips (field) and 120/100 ips (frame) recording. The unit features 16 analog video inputs, eight coax camera control inputs and four audio inputs.

Real time recording (up to 25 ips) H.264 image encoding providing high quality and high compression simultaneously. 4 hard drive bays (drive included TBC). Storage can be increased to 4TB when used with additional 1TB hard drives. PTZ control via coax (up to 4 channels) or RS485 (all channels). SD5Link with i-VMD alarm provides disk saving and easy search. 2x HDMI outputs supporting dual 1080i displays. Rack mount ears included.
