8 LED Beacon Kit w/ Microchip PIC Microcontroller
Sale is for a set of parts for building a LED beacon in various colours (detailed list of included materials is below). The sale includes programmed microcontroller. You can actually build up to 5 beacons in different colour from the materials included in this sale (except the microcontroller, which is 1pc). I am supplying 5 sockets, so you can swap the microcontroller from one beacon to another. You are going to have plenty of fun!

Microchip PIC Microcontroller for PIC for 8 LED Beacon Kit
Blue 3mm Water-Clear LED 5000 mcd
Red 3mm Water-Clear LED 1500 mcd
Green 3mm Water-Clear LED 1000 mcd
Yellow 3mm Water-Clear LED 1000 mcd
* Cut the universal PCB into 8x8 pad pieces.
* Install DIP14 socket. You may place a two-wire cable under it to lock the cable and prevent tear.
* Install 8 resistors and leave their leads longer.
* Install wire loop around PCB, this will be GND (not shown).
* Install LEDs from the bottom. Bend cathodes and solder them onto GND loop.
* Bend the leads of resistors and make connections (blue in the picture).
* Install 100nF capacitor between VDD and VSS of U1.
* Install a jump from LED7 anode to R7.
* Runs from 4~5V, never exceed 5.5V.
