This unit is used in many different applications to separate silt and oils out of drilling mud from tunnels and wash ponds etc where water,silts,mud or oils etc are produced. You can save Big $, Land and Major Contamination problems by using this instead of wasting Large amounts of Money and land for settling ponds.
* water and solids are separated by gravity sedimentation, enhanced by a proprietary polymer flocculation method
* water input and discharge can be by gravity or pumping
* suspended solids are allowed to settle on the floor of the water clarifier
* the clarifier can handle solids from about 0.3mm to 200 micron silt or clay (sizes above this will settle without the use of flocculants)
* the solids pile up, compact and the water is squeezed out
* the solids are so thick, they can be automatically (by computer control) scooped or scraped from within by special screw conveyor paddles
* the solids containment area in front of each module is large enough to handle two days' accumulation
* the solids themselves are so dry, they can even be piled up with a front-end loader or hauled away in trucks
* the produced solids have a variety of uses, including landfill refuse cover, landscape contouring, brick manufacture and soil mixes.
