MILITARY QUALITY EQUIPMENT CASE
These are a nice quality hard sided foam lined transportation / instrument storage case.
Manufactured for the Royal Navy by Coes of Derby Ltd from fibreglass and coated with a pale blue/grey resin, they were originally intended to house a set of binoculars.
Full length heavy duty brass 'piano lid' type hinge, galvonised catches with provision to fit a padlock, a quality leather strap carry handle and locking strut lid supports; internal dimensions are 358mm wide x 310mm x 140mm deep plus the lid which has additional 45mm of depth. The outside dimensions therefore are 370mm x 320mm x 198mm plus 10mm hard nylon feet.
Anyone wanting more than one - they also stack :-) with the feet going into moudings on the lid of the next one.
The inside is lined with a purpose pre-cut foam lining that would have held the binoculars.
These are new unused and ex NATO service supplied in new condition, lovely quality carrt case ideal for protecting expensive electronic test equipment, camera, video equipment etc.
