Antique bausch & lomb optical 2-head microscope brass
I am not familiar w/this item and not sure what to look for in the description, so I will tell you what I see:
It is cast iron with brass fitting. It is also marked Bausch & Lomb Optical Rochester N.Y. USA. It has 2 heads (I believe they are called objectives?)
the first one is Brass and marked Bausch & Lomb 16mm 0.25 10X,
the second is silver metal colored and marked 100X011-Immersion N.A. 1.30m
Also marked Bausch & Lomb on small round Brass plate on bottom back side.
There is minor paint wear to the base. The microscope adjusts as it should. The eye piece is removeable and is in good condition. Has a swivel mirror and 2 metal clips to hold slide on table. I cannot find a date, or where to look for one. It is heavy and weighs about 7#.
Measures 12 3/4" tall x 5 1/4" at Horse shoe type base.
No case or additional accessories.
