Leviton 14/2 Pigtail Power Cord Switched Plug Breather
Leviton 7397-011-BL power cord (manufactured by Pacific Electricord, a division of Leviton). Originally designed for use by Little Giant; most likely for one of its piggyback diaphragm switches (used to turn a pump on/off at certain water levels based on pressure). Cord has an unusual breather tube, presumably to provide pressure release for the diaphragm switch. 14/2 AWG SJTW cable contains 2 conductors and the breather tube - see photo for breather tube exit port on plug. Plug is a switched design on the rear receptacle face that is controlled by the wires in the cord. Connecting the two wires closes the circuit to one side of the receptacle (other other side is always ON). Thus, it is important that both the receptacle that this is plugged into and the device that this is hooked up to have their neutrals properly wired.
