Large precision angular ball bearings are assembled on the front part of the spindle to provide rigidity on both the radial and the thrust sides. This spindle is suitable for grinding of deep hole, grinding by 1.57" (40 mm) grindstone and small-diameter end milling.
The NR-311 is assembled with ultra-precision steel bearings and is designed to withstand continuous operation at up to 30,000 min-1(rpm).
