Essex old spool of magnetic copper wire
This is a very old wooden spool of Magnetic Copper Wire from Essex Wire Corp. Says it was made in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It says "Heavy Formvar" on top of the wooden spool. I would calculate the size of wire to be the thickness of 2 hairstrands (Sorry, don't know what the AWG is) This will be mailed in "as found" condition. The top of the spool is wooden with the outside of the edges encased in metal. The spool is approximately 5 inches tall and 5 inches wide.
