After doing a little research I believe that 1992 was the only year that the small was produced with a black impact cap.
This helmet was used for a short period in a window display only and is in great shape as can be seen from the pictures. The helmet has the adjustable ratchet system along with the eyeshields, ear flaps and chin strap. This classic helmet is ready to be put into service for firefighting or it could continue being used in a display. The helmet is truly in like new condition as a result of never being worn!
