Replacement Quartz Clock Mechanism With Hands, Takes AA Battery
This is one item of new replacement quartz clock mechanism with standard single hole fitting and some standard fitting pointers. You can also use these to rotate pieces of paper fixed to the second hand if it is well balanced, and I believe that people have opened up the case and connected wires across the coil in order to make a cheap source of 1 second interval electrical pulses, to drive some other electronic or electric clock system. The case is 55 X 55 X 15mm. The shaft hole is 8mm diameter and there are two 4mm diameter mounting holes 40mm apart.
