Designed to reduce the complexity and number of components of in power supply monitoring and battery control functions in microprocessor systems including uP reset, backup-battery switchover, watchdog timer, CMOS RAM or EEPROM write protection, and power failure warning. It has adjustable reset and watchdog timeout periods, and separate outputs for watchdog timeout, backup-battery switchover and low Vcc.
