* The UBC 2000 four-station rapid battery charging system is designed to charge/condition different battery chemistries and configurations currently supported by Symbol portable products.
This includes Nickel-Cadmium (NiCd), Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) and Lithium-Ion (LiIon) battery packs. The UBC 2000 allows you to use one charging device to charge your different battery types simultaneously - truly a "Universal" approach. Every battery adapter can also be used as a single bay charger.
This battery charger includes adapters for the 1950 mAh batteries for the PDT8100 Xscale and trigger-ready models. These adaptors will also work with higher-capacity batteries as long as they are for the XScale and trigger ready PDT81XX handheld computers. If your PDT8100 uses the older SA1110 processor, or does not have the trigger-ready rear housing, please check our other listings or contact us for different adaptors. This charger will work with the following PDT81XX models:

We have verified that the battery charger powers on, all LED indicaters work, and that the charger charges and conditions up to 4 separate batteries simultaneously.
