The engine consumes less than 0.5 gallons of diesel per hour under full load. It is a clean burning three cylinder diesel engine that has received current year EPA certification. Since it meets new current emission standards it runs cleaner and quieter. The emissions are clear and far better for our environment then older designs.
The engine is based on Isuzu technology and is made by Laidong. The model number is LL380. This is the same engine used in farm tractors and other heavy machinery. It is a slow turning 1800 rpm diesel and water / radiator cooled engine. You can expect a minimum of 10,000 hours life out of it before it requires rebuilding. With proper care you can extend the life indefinitely. Since it uses replaceable cylinder liners, engine overhaul is easier than ever.

This generator uses the GU601A microprocessor controlled Automatic Generator Controller. In automatic mode it can be triggered by remote signals such as a loss of power or automatic transfer switch. The LCD display shows generator operational status and parameters. Its main characteristics as below
* Protective parameters can easily be configured via panel input and menu system or by software, USB cable and PC
* Controller can measure and display Alternator Frequency, Alternator Voltage, Battery Voltage, Oil Pressure and Coolant Temperature.
* Set fuel mode to normally closed or normally open mode.
* 5 relay control output Fuel and Start Crank relay outputs
* 3 of the 5 outputs are configurable
* Oil Pressure and Engine Temperature Inputs
* All connections of controller are connected by pin locked up terminals, easier and more convenient to connect, move, maintain and replace the device
