The Kapton Tape is made of a flamed retardant material that is ideal for making applications with permanent high temperature or unusually high peak temperatures.
Great resistance to most common solvents, acids and alkalis of the etching solutions and to most common solvents including freon.
The extreme temperature resistance of the polyamide film, and silicone adhesive system work well to protect the gold 'fingers' on the edges of printed circuit boards, during the wave soldering process.
