A pack of 5/16 diameter 4140 Alloy steel. You will get 25 pcs. Each rod is 10" to 14" long.
This is very expensive material! Used to make tough components and aircraft parts. You can see in the picture the small aircraft clevis pin that we made from this material. Note: You will get 25 rods similar to those shown in the picture, but not the sample pin.
These are remnants left over from our cnc swiss screw machine shop. Most will be chamfered on one end and have a brown ring near the chamfer. This is caused by the gripper that removes the remnants from the barloader.
These rods can be used for hobbie machining,short run cnc work, street rod parts,antique motor parts,antique tractor parts,model building and ect.....This is some really high quality 4140!
