Velepec & Whiteside router bits are proudly manufactured in the United States.
Velepec appears to be phasing out the small plastic tube containers shown in the photo.
The bits may or may not come in the tubes.
Whiteside bits have silver bearing retainers and Velepec retainers are black.
Whiteside suggests using the 3000 bit as a dado clean out bit used to square the bottom of dado cuts made on a table saw. It is also ideal for small hinge setting and inlay work.
