This product will save a lot of time and money on sweating a fitting to except a regular brass tailpiece.This tailpiece will eliminate a female adapter to the sink strainer and a male adapter to a dwv 90 or san-tee on your drainage piping,it all depends if you choose to sweat in a piece of dwv piping to that female adapter.My opinion is, this is a great product for the commercial plumber who is well versed in sweating on and installing drainage piping to 3 compartment,bar and prep sinks.At the end walk away knowing you just saved yourself a lot of time,money.
