Although the 1/4-20 and larger diameters do not have breakage problems, the #6 to #10s are more likley to break if mistreated. This is generally because when using the fairly large level tool, most people put to much side pressure on the nose piece thread when they are trying to use the tool. So its important to pull evenly and not put sideways pressure on the handle or the hardened threaded component can snap. So if you snap it, don't tell me its defective. Also the tool and these conversion kits are for use with nutserts and thin nutserts which are mostly made of aluminum. Rivnuts are harder to pull and should probably not be attempted with this hand tool.
