RF communication via Symbol's Spectrum 24 wireless network (PDT 814x) or a wide area network (PDT 813x). 1-dimensional scanning capability, Monochrome with backlight (green) lcd screen with switch on/off, touchscreen, IrDA-compliant interface for printing and communications, and a keypad light that can also be switch on/off, built-in speaker and microphone, it comes with two pens, two batteries, a data cable, booklets with instructions, one VCA-8100 Charging Adaptor DC/Cigarrete Lighter Charger, an AC Electric Craddle Charger 8100-1000S with the AC electric adaptor, the Symbol Craddle provides power for operating the terminal scanner, provides a serial port for data communication between a terminal and a host PC or other external device (e.g., a printer); synchronizes information between your PDT 8100 Series terminal and a host PC, recharges the terminal's battery, recharges a spare batter also. The Symbol Scanner is new and is working perfectly.
