The AC-600 Threshold terminal controller incorporates 16-bit technology with real-time operations and has a proven track record in the access control industry. Compatible with the Pinnacle software, the AC-600 supervises all access control decisions and alarm detection. Each AC-600 controller has a standard memory capacity of 4,000 cardholders. Memory is upgradeable in two increments of 20,000 or 50,000 users. The AC-600 controller is compatible with a wide range of card reader technologies.

The AC-460 and AC-460E 16-bit I/O expansion units increase input/output capacity for the AC-600 Threshold terminal controller. This expansion unit shares the intelligence of the terminal controller's memory and uses the same supervision scheme. The AC-460 adds 14 inputs and 14 outputs to the two inputs and two outputs provided on every terminal controller. The AC-460E allows for 30 outputs for point control or elevator floor selection.
