This is a conversion kit for the 8950 power amplifier tube to a 6LB6 tube.
Included are driver tube conversion kit, 8950 to 6LB6 (1) (with typical schematics and instructions). Instructions are included for rewiring the 8950 socket from 12 volt filaments in parallel to 6 volt filaments in series together with the ballast components. The 6LB6 is a direct replacement for the very expensive 8950 tube with the only difference being the 6 volt filament verses the 12 volt 8950 filament.
