This is a vintage product catalog / advertising brochure for industrial grates, issued by the Marion Machine Foundry & Supply Co. of Marion, Indiana; no publishing date, but an ink-stamp on the first page is dated 1926, so circa roughly 1925-1926. "Catalog No. 120-R". 24 pages, nicely printed textured paper covers, well-illustrated with b&w photos and diagrams, with all specs, descriptions, and technical data. A very uncommon booklet.
Includes detailed info on: Scottsdale Grates, Rocking Grates, Keystone Rocking Grates, Type H Anthracite Grates, Marion Bagasse Grates, Marion Kiln Grates, Common Grate Bars, Dead Plates, Keystone Steam Blowers, Marion Boiler Fronts, Lime Kiln Fronts, and Scottdale Coal Crushers; great cut-away drawings as well as photos and diagrams, plus illustrations of the buildings of the main factories.
Stapled paper wraps, measuring 9 by 11.5 inches; this has survived some moisture - it has a filing sticker to the cover, tight staples with minor rust, 1-inch split at top of spine; covers have light discoloring at margins, corner bumping, several small edge tears; pages have moderate discoloring (tan spotting) in the margins which rarely reaches into the text and photo areas, otherwise clean. Condition is Good.
