(BET) method] was measured by nitrogen sorption, analysis using a Micromeritics Gemini 2375 analyzer, (Norcross, GA). The samples
were initially out gassed at 70 C for 24 h. The FTIR spectra were recorded using ThermoNicolet Avatar 360 FTIR equipped with a Smart
Endurance ATR attachment (diamond crystal; Waltham,MA). The Raman spectra were recorded using a Renishaw in Via Raman
Microscope equipped with a 765-nm, laser excitation (Gloucestershire, UK). The AFM images were acquired in a tapping mode
using a Nanoscope IV scanning probe microscope (Veeco, Plainview, NY). The contact angle between a water droplet and the
film was measured, and the angle was calculated using KSV CAM, Optical Contact Angle with Pendant Drop Surface Tension
Software 3.80 (Monroe, CT). Five measurements were made for each composition and averaged.
