The Tek 2247A was just about the best equipped 4 channel 100MHz portable analog scope Tek made from 1989-1995. It cost new $4000, but you can now get it for just a tiny fraction, still working just fine. It includes dvm (gatable), frequency counter (gatable), and tv sync as standard features rather than as options as on the 2400series, my specialty. The gated measurement capabilities refer to measurements confined to a user defined+highlighted zone, rather than averaged overall, rather unique! It is light to carry, and accepts any power between 90 and 250 V with no need to switch, ideal for international field service. Photo shows the leading edge of a fastrise 1MHz square wave at the scopes's fastest sweep speed, magnified X10 (2nS/cm). This is a simple, easy, yet, revealing test for weeding out tired scopes... since it stresses horizontal & vertical amplifiers to the max, and gun for intensity.
