"This is an amplifier/splitter designed for GPS use - connect two GPS receivers, at least one of which supplies DC port to an active antenna, and connect the active antenna to the antenna port. The unit contains a 3db amplifier to offset the losses of the splitter. These are great if you are trying to run two GPS receivers off one active GPS antenna."
