The tape reader uses two of these motors one going forward the other backward depending on the tape direction through the reader.
The tape reader was on an Excellon CNC drilling machine that is being parted out.
This data input reader was manufactured by Superior Electric in 1978.
The motor is Slo Syn synchronous stepping motor type SS25-1138
