For sale- a Melles Griot 06DLD103 Diode Laser Controller. As you can see in the second picture, the display actually declares it to be an 06DLD103A Rev. 2.77, serial number 01221. It powers up and according to that opening screen it passes the self test. It appears to be completely responsive to the controls, and with a diode laser attached it appears to work just fine in the sense that the laser comes on.
Beyond that I have no idea what I am doing with it. There is no manual, so that is the extent of the testing. I did find a spec sheet in pdf format here on the web.
There are three diode lasers included in the sale. There is an 06DLL677, an 06DLL107, and an 06DLL507. The DLL677 is a 640.4nm 10mW laser that worked great, right up to the point where it rolled off the top of the controller and hit the floor. Now it still seems to be producing laser light, but something is loose inside and appears to keep the beam from exiting. You can shake it and briefly see the laser, but it would appear to need repair at this point and I don t see a way to get inside it. So it may be trash at this point.
