In 1959 Humtown started as a wood pattern shop in a local garage. The wood patterns later expanded into metal and plastic patterns in the 1960-1970 s. Metal tooling capabilities were incorporated into the mix as well as CNC abilities which were added in the early 1990 s.
Humtown also incorporated a core shop that makes sand cores and molds. This gives Humtown a competitive advantage to make tooling for tough castings with thin metal walls. This ability currently allows us to supply an engine builder with a 200lb. cast iron cylinder head.
Humtown has capabilities to take your 2D drawing or 3D part file and take it from Conception to Production. With 50 years experience supplying foundries with patterns, casting solutions, and working with 78 different foundries with a diverse range of specialty castings from automotive, locomotive, aerospace, mining, and industrial applications, Humtown will be your Solution Provider.
