This is a NEW MKS HPS Vacuum Sentry (in Varian trim) with KF-40 flanges and 120 V solenoid valve.
Although this is labeled as a Varian item, it is clearly a "Vacuum Sentry" from HPS.

* This type of valve is expressly designed to:
1. isolate a vacuum system from a mechanical pump in the event of an electrical power failure
2. vent the inlet of the rotary pump
3. return to normal configuration once electrical power has been restored and the mechanical pump inlet is again under vacuum
