You are looking at the Stickler, vehicle mounted and powered log splitter. Mounted on the rear hub of your vehicle, it works like a giant woodscrew to split the round of wood. I received the Stickler and was very leary of it and thought I got took. I used it tonight and WOW, it works like a champ....I split some very large rounds without any problems....this is more than I expected.
It has become fairly common that the Stickler is being adapted for use on PTO or hydraulically driven posthole augers. This application of the Stickler allows the operator to split larger rounds or even logs. Some guys are also using it to drag logs or lift them off the ground when cutting them to firewood length. We now offer an adapter that will mount to the posthole auger shaft. The Stickler bolts to that adapter. Please contact us for further information. It is sold as a seperate item.
