This scanner is in good physical condition. It scans with no apparent problems, however depending on the barcode scanned, it will place a different letter in front of the barcode. I do not know if this is a setting that can be modified by firmware or another issue. If you have any further technical questions, please contact the manufacturer.
Please note that this is fragile equipment and requires special packaging to minimize any possible damage to the product.
