Anodized Aluminum Polishing Buffing Kit removes coating
Anodized trim has been used on lots of car trim parts since the early 60 s. Over the years the trim turns milky looking and cannot be polished unless the coating is removed. These parts can be salvaged and made to look better than new.
This Jestco Products anodized aluminum kit comes complete with
1- anodize coating remover (16oz),
1 - 6 inch soft cotton buffing wheel.
1-white polishing compound (over 2 lbs).
Just simply mix 4 tablespoons of anodize remover per gallon of warm water and dip parts for 15-20 minutes. Rinse part and use your bench grinder or buff parts with the soft 6 cotton wheel and white compound.
After polishing wax the parts with a good car wax or Wenol Polish to keep them like new.
