Fusetrons are dual element fuses incorporating a standard fuse element as well as a time delay element.
The time delay compensates for surges caused by motors, transformers, and other inductive circuits.
These All-Purpose fuses are used in place of ordinary single element fuses such as Buss Class K5.
They protect feeder circuits and branch circuits with motor loads, as well as lighting and electric heat circuits.
They provide short circuit, and ground fault protection and, when properly sized, overload protection.
