This unit is NEW and comes with factory remote control software. The laptop pictured is NOT included in the package only the :PT-3000R. The second picture shows the 4 inputs, the first one is loop thru. This unit is excellent for remote site monitoring. Connect a cat5 cable to the router, follow the instruction manual to assign and address (HYPER TERMINAL), put the software on the computer of your choice and you are in business. I have used these units with an EVDO card in a moving vehicle without any problems, or from my home to monitor remote sites.
