Large heavy duty motor start capacitor bank - cap.s
* Dayton Capacitors rated at 35MFD at 370VAC used to start a humongous electric motor (Dayton Model # 4X453A).
* This bank of (4) caps were used to start a large horsepower electic motor used as electrical phase balancing so that welding could be done in the basement using available (2) phase electricity. These units are in excellent physical condition (no dings or dents or rust, electrical connections are tight and solid)!!!
* The first photo is when I pulled the units (cut the connections and dragged the bank out for a photo - they show sawdust and dry wall dust from nearby work in the basement)
* The 2nd photo is a close up of one unit dusted off (no rust, showing the connection type - standard spade lugs similar to automotive harnesses)
* Uses standard male 1/4" electrical spade connectors
* Total approx. weight 10 lbs.
