Tonnnage - 25 US Tons, hydraulic
Turret - 20 Station thick style tooling
Sheet size - The A5-20 can handle a 50" x 80" sheet without repositioning.
50" x 160" with (1) repo. The 5 stands for 50" Y-axis, the 20 stands for a
2-meter X-axis ballscrew. It can handle sheets of any length with
repositioning, the throat is 50". So you could fabricate a sheet if
48" x 144" as done by American Furniture.
Hit rate (HPM) - 320 on 1" centers
Axis travels - X - 3543 inches per minute and the Y is 2362 inches per minute
Max. material thickness - The clamps can hold .312" material. But punching is
always a function of material thickness, Material tensil strength, Tonnage,
Surface area of the punch, Shear on the punch and the constant of '25'.
Whatever 25 tons can successfully punch can be done on the A5.
Control type and model - Siemens 840D Industrial PC-based control with a
1 MB memory. Can be networked. The control also has MMC (man machine control)
which has your manuals, maintenance and machine records in a PDF format
able to be printed on your network
3 Clamps with PCS (Programmable clamp settings), 7" x 7" Trap door, brush tables
3 Auto index stations with multitools
