MM220 6A bipolar microstepping stepper motor driver
The MM220 is a microprocessor controlled Single Axis 6A/phase bipolar microstepping Stepper driver. The MM220 supports full, half, quarter and one sixteenth micro step. An onboard ATmega168 8bit RISC microprocessor interprets commands sent to the driver on a parallel header. All inputs are optically isolated. The MM220 is capable of 48V operation. Logic power is taken from the stepper motor power input. A potentiometer sets driver current. Large heat sinks allow the MM220 to handle heavy loads. Step, direction, limit switch and eStop inputs are fed to the onboard processor that in turn controls the driver chip. The MM220 is designed for high performance bipolar stepping applications. The MM220 is ideal large stepper motor control.
