LOCTITE 7804FRM Hysol Hot Melt Adhesive is a polyamide based hot melt adhesive offering excellent impact resistance and flame retardant properties.
LOCTITE Hysol 7804FRM polyamide hot melt is a tough, elastomeric, high performance adhesive with excellent impact resistance at low temperatures. It has been modified with fire retardant materials and has a UL 94V-0 flammability rating. It is
recommended for demanding applications where substrates may be exposed to temperature extremes. Hysol 7804FRM bonds to many difficult substrates including: metals, plastics, wood, leather, fabric, non-woven fabric, films and foils.

The sticks work in any old cheap glue gun, even though the specs mention a higher melting point. The wattage on the guns I'm using is 20 watts, just your average el-cheapo home craft type gun. The glue is ferociously adhesive, just the ticket for some jobs. You do not need a heavy duty gun, I doubt if industrial guns operate at a higher temperature (385 deg.F) but probably have a higher volume or dispense rate that might be handy in faster production speeds. We use a Loctite brand applicator model 050/98544. It s fixed temperature setting is 383 deg.F. or 195 deg. C. We also use a Stanley Glue Pro Model no: GR100, on the high temperature setting, and that melts them just fine too. Both guns are able to dispense the diameter of the glue stick that you have advertised. (Mike)
