Rare, incredible condition, vintage Fairbanks cart. Super heavy duty, all original paint, all original parts!!!. Weighs about 175 pounds, and has original Fairbanks name on both sides of frame. All 4 wheel hubs have raised Fairbanks name. All 4 solid rubber tires have raised Fairbanks name. Rubber tires are in great condition, nice and solid, very little wear. The cast iron frame by the large wheels has the name:" The Fairbanks Co., a triangle with an F in it, and 018". The cast iron frame by the smaller wheels has the following: The Fairbanks co., S-18. It has 6 grease fittings, 4 on wheel hubs, and 2 on the small wheel rotators. The large wheels are 14" by 3" wide. The smaller wheels are 8" by 2 & 1/2" wide. The bed is 48" by 24", and overall length is 50". The front 2 bumbers are marked L for left side and r for ritght side. The cart bed is 17" off the ground, which is much higher than the usual industrial cart. The rotating small wheel supports are stamped: U.S.A. patents 2 500 854 and 2 500 886. I cannot find this cart anywhere, could it be military or railroad?, it can carry extremely heavy weight. Pick up at Lafayette, New Jersey 07848....Just 1 hour drive from Manhatten, New York City.
