Hallidie Machinery Co., Inc. is proud to offer for your consideration an USED 1998 Bridgeport EZTRAK Milling Machine. This unique machine combines the world renowned Series I Standard Milling Machine, modified to include ballscrews and DC servo motors on the X and Y axes, with a Bridgeport manufactured 2-axis, CNC control. (A full contouring 3rd axis is optionally available) This control is much easier to use than conventional CNC equipment, yet it is far more productive than manual machining. EZTRAK takes all of the most difficult machining operations to set-up and process and automates them with no additional set-up required. The Bridgeport EZTRAK Milling Machine includes the following standard features:
Z-axis 5" (127mm) (w/ 3rd axis option 4.5" (114mm))
* 3 hp (30 minute), 2 hp (continuous) duty rated, AC induction spindle motor with spindle brake
* Infinitely variable spindle speeds: Low gear: 60-500 rpm; High gear: 500-4200 rpm
* Optional, fully programmable contouring 3rd axis
* R-8 spindle taper Collet capacity 3/4" (#30 Quick-Change or 200 Kwik-Switch spindle option available)
* Spindle guard included standard (Full table guard optional)
* Chrome/Nickel alloy spindle is heat treated and ground with precision bearings, preloaded and accurately spaced for maximum radial and thrust capability.
* Quill is 3 1/8" dia, hard chrome plated, and hand lapped for extreme accuracy and long life. Quick release micrometer depth adjustment
* Chrome plated ways are standard to maintain inherent accuracy, includes plating on the Back of the knee;
Column knee gib; Top of the knee; Top of the saddle; Saddle table gib.
