The Vortex-Evaporator is a complete sample preparation station that mixes, evaporates, and incubates. The Vortex-Evaporator prepares samples for analysis such as RIA/CPB, drug abuse screening, electrophoresis, TLC, gas chromatography, HPLC, and other pharmaceutical and analytical applications.
Unit features vortex mixing with variable speed control and heater regulation proportioning that is thermistor-controlled within 1 Celsius. Special vacuum control system guards against bumping. Cast aluminum housing.
Teflon resin-coated aluminum sample blocks (sold separately) accommodate multiple samples in ninety 12mm test tubes, fifty-six 16mm test tubes, thirty-six 17mm conical-bottom centrifuge tubes, or twenty 28mm scintillation vials. Vacuum covers (sold separately) fit over entire sample blocks to form a vacuum seal. Cooling plate accessory (71050-030)(sold separately) with inlet and outlet ports, cools the aluminum block when reduced temperature is required for incubation or evaporation. Thermal compound accessory (71050-032)(sold separately) is applied to bottom surface of sample block to aid heat transfer
