5 Horsepower at 480V 3 , or 3 Horsepower at 208/240V 3 This Rugged Starter has the Built In Quality that has been the Trademark of Square-D Electric Company for over the Last Century. We are selling a Three Phase Square-D Starter that is ideal for safely starting Motor Driven Machinery. The rugged construction makes it ideal for machine control, wither in your process control panel, or in your stand alone pump, conveyor, saw, air compressor, or other power driven application. This starter has a 208 volt coil, so it will be compatible with any 208 volt operating circuit. This Starter has a heater trip indicator, and a heater trip test button to force a trip to see if it's working properly.
This starter comes with heaters installed, which may or may not be applicable to your application. It comes with a redeeming factor however, in the form of a 100% to 115% variable setting for the overload heaters. I believe it was designed to be set for the motor service factor, but I may be wrong on this point.
There is a Normally Open set of contacts that generally are used for a coil holding circuit, however it could be used as an exhaust fan interlock if your application called for it. The contacts were inspected, and they are in excellent condition with little pitting and hardly any sign of usage at all. This Starter has a 30 Day "No Questions Asked" Refund Policy.
And that represents the wholesale price, so it s plain to see that this item is offered during this sale at almost 90% off the current wholesale price.
I have to be very careful that I don t talk myself into keeping items I m selling for that very same reason. Unfortunately age has me pushing 72 pretty hard, and it s time to commit to retiring. Actually, if I had any sense I would have done that 20 years ago.
