This RAL Series type vacuum table is made of solid aluminum and straightened on both sides. These characteristics ensure both the maximum possible firmness and distortion-freeness when heated (not a bimetal effect).
This vacuum clamping technology guarantees a clamping force, which is around 4 - 5 times higher than using an ordinary vacuum cleaner or a side channel compressor. There is no need for a very powerful vacuum pump because the whole system is sealed up during the production process - even while countersinking your component!
Solid aluminum can be used in combination with coolant without almost any restrictions and therefore this vacuum table is practically indestructible.
By the use of a connecting adaptor with the ball valve, several of these vacuum tables can be driven by a single vacuum pump at the same time. This guarantees a high flexibility with repeat production.
You can for example, work with two vacuum tables: On the first table your product is being milled while on the other table you prepare the next item for the production process.
Using this process of a submerged single length foam rubber cord, the work piece is located directly on the aluminum surface of the vacuum table. This will achieved the maximum possible accuracy in the Z-axis direction.
