4 cm X 4cm, 4 mm thick.8.5 amp. Max wattage is 127.5. They operate from 0 to 15 volts, from -40 to 85 degrees. One side gets hot the other side gets cold, reverse the polarity and the opposite happens. They can easily freeze when used properly.
* cool a cooler (this TE is 5 to 10 times more powerful than the TE's in the regular coolers)
The part has been used [proven] for probably around a year and should have at least 19 years left. These TECs are guarantied to work like new. They will have some residual thermal grease still on them and the leads are around 3/8" long.
Peltiers must have proper heat sinks and thermal grease or epoxy for proper function; damage may occur if they are not set up properly.
