L3 / NARDA Broadband Isotropic Radiation Monitors and Probe Kit
Consists of three probes, two meters, one probe bracket, and carry case with Foam.
Model 8221 Probe - Power Density 20 mW/cm^2 (calibrated at 2.45 GHz), White, with cone
Model 8623B Isotropic Probe, Power Density 100 mW/cm^2, or 1000W/meter^2, 0.3 to 26 GHz coverage range. Yellow, with Cover
Model 8621C Isotropic Probe, Power Density 20 mW/cm^2 or 200W/meter^2, 0.3 - 26 GHz coverage range, White with large head.
The 8621C and 8623B and normally used as a set, and the calibration and correction tables are on the handles. Both of these probes are quite expensive
All three probes work, and were bench tested by me, but have not been calibrated.
The smaller meter is a Narda 8211, and worked fine when tested on the first probe, on a fresh battery. No battery is included with the 8211.
The larger meter is a Narda 8616 Electromagnetic Radiation Monitor, that needs a new battery, and perhaps some minor repair. The internal NiCad battery in the 8616 is bad, and leaked a small amount, but is easy to clean up.
The larger meter was tested by attaching it to an external power supply, and it responded as you would expect, but it still should be considered a repair item.
So, three very expensive probe, two high end meters, a hard to/impossible to find tripod mounting bracket, and a appropriate carry case.
