They are made of non-ferrous (non-magnetic) metal. It appears to be nickel plating. The weight is substantial which makes me suspect they are not made of aluminum. The weight leads me to believe they are made of copper. I cant scratch off the nickel plating.
I have at least six of these heatsinks.
