THE METAL ANALYST-A CATALOG OF SELECTIVE APPARATUS FOR METALLURGICAL TESTING FROM ADOLPH I. BUEHLER INC, CHICAGO, ILLINOIS "
An black & white spiral bound soft cover catalog/information booklet with black lettering and design on the front cover. Published in 1939 by Adolph I. Buehler, Inc. of Chicago, Illinois. I believe this was that company's first catalog. The catalog serves two purposes. It provides general information of selected apparatus for metallurgical testing; and it provides information on the company's line of microscopes, measuring apparatus, spectrography and refractometry instruments, cameras, etc. Products are displayed with black & white photographs and and are briefly described and priced. Original. 98 pages, including the index. Printed on glossy paper stock.
Adolph I. Buehler Incorporated was founded and incorporated in 1936 by Adolph I. Buehler, a Swiss immigrant who saw a need for metallographic sample preparation equipment and optical inspection instruments for the steel and automotive industries in the Midwest USA.
