We tested this unit, and our results were not promising. We plugged it in and turned up the 'stirring' knob, and at first, there was no response. We turned it all the way up, at which point, (2) of the magnets began to spin very slowly. After another moment, one of these two sped up and actually spun at its proper speed. The other continued to turn at an extremely slow rate. The final two never turned at all, the appear to be completely frozen.
